This Privacy Policy describes how Metrix AdsManager Super SaaS (the “Application”) collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our tool. The Application is a locally-run software designed to provide an interface for interacting with the Meta Marketing API.

1. Introduction

The Application is a client-side and local server-based tool that you run on your own computer. It is designed to help you create, manage, and analyze your advertising campaigns on the Meta (Facebook) platform. Your privacy and the security of your data are our top priorities. This policy explains what data the Application processes and how it is handled.

2. Information We Collect

The Application requires you to provide certain information to function. This information is used solely to communicate with the Meta Marketing API on your behalf. We collect the following types of information:

  • Meta API Credentials: Your Meta Marketing API Access Token is required to authenticate your requests. This token is stored in the application’s memory only while the back-end server is running and is never saved to a permanent file.
  • Account Identifiers: We use the Ad Account ID, Page ID, and Pixel ID that you provide to direct the API calls to the correct assets within your Meta Business account.
  • Campaign & Ad Data: Any information you input into the front-end interface, including but not limited to campaign names, objectives, budgets, audience targeting criteria (locations, interests), ad headlines, primary text, and website URLs.
  • Uploaded Media: Image files (.jpg, .png, .jpeg) that you select for your ad creatives are temporarily processed by the local back-end server.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To authenticate with the Meta Marketing API.
  • To create, manage, or retrieve data about your advertising campaigns, ad sets, and ads as you direct through the Application’s user interface.
  • To upload your selected ad images to Meta’s servers for use in ad creatives.

The Application acts as a conduit between you and the Meta API. It does not use your information for any other purpose, such as analytics, tracking, or sale to third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

The only third party your information is shared with is Meta Platforms, Inc. The data you input is sent directly to Meta’s servers via the official Meta Marketing API to perform the actions you initiate.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with any other third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

We are committed to ensuring your information is secure.

  • Local Operation: Both the front-end (metrix.html) and the back-end (app.py) are designed to run locally on your machine. Your data is not transmitted to any server other than Meta’s.
  • Temporary File Handling: When you upload an image for an ad, the file is saved to a temporary local folder (temp_uploads) on your computer. This file is deleted immediately after it is successfully uploaded to Meta’s servers. No media files are stored permanently by the Application.
  • Credential Security: Your ACCESS_TOKEN is held in the memory of the local Python server and is cleared when the server is shut down. For maximum security, we recommend you shut down the back-end server when you are not actively using the tool.

6. User Rights and Choices

You have complete control over your information.

  • Access and Deletion: Since the Application runs locally, you can view and modify the source code at any time. You can delete the application and all associated files from your computer to permanently remove it.
  • Revoking Access: You can revoke the Application’s permission to access your Meta account at any time through your Meta account’s “Business Integrations” settings.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
